Case studies
End-to-end product work — each one taken from ambiguous problem through research, iteration, and tested design. These independent projects show how I think, not just what I ship.
Roli
Recipe and menu operations for multi-location restaurants. A platform concept that lets owners store, share, and roll out recipes across locations — grounded in 7 user interviews and iterative unmoderated usability testing, with accessibility treated as a design constraint from the start.
Sharity
Social giving, designed for trust. A donation platform concept tackling donor drop-off with transparency and social mechanics — informed by behavioral research, defined around a proto-persona, and validated with 7 usability tests that surfaced and fixed critical flow errors.
Where I've worked

A designer for the hard problems.
I'm a senior product and service designer based in Langley, BC. My work lives where design meets complexity: government services, regulated platforms, and health technology — domains where getting it wrong has real consequences for real people.
My approach is research-led and systems-minded. I start with evidence — interviews, usability testing, behavioral research — define the problem sharply, and design iteratively until the complex feels simple. I treat accessibility as a craft constraint, not a checklist, and I believe the best design decisions are the ones a team can defend with data.
Along the way I've mentored designers, evolved design systems, facilitated workshops, and partnered with product, engineering, and policy teams from discovery through delivery. I've completed NN/g courses in UX strategy and remote research, enterprise design thinking (IBM), and Scrum — and I bring a psychology background to how I understand users.
Currently a Senior Service Designer with the Government of British Columbia, designing digital services for the public.

Let's build something worth using.
I'm currently exploring senior product design roles and select freelance engagements. If you're tackling a complex problem and need a designer who starts with evidence — I'd like to hear about it.
